This document describes the current role of CHWs in home-based asthma programs, the range of services delivered, and financing mechanisms used to support this work. This paper also provides examples of home-based asthma programs in the field, and offers recommendations for stakeholders to advance the role of CHWs in the delivery of home-based asthma services.
